GQ Magazine believes that film has had more influence on fashion than the catwalk has. They have listed 25 films that have had the most influence on male fashion. First on the list is North by Northwest (1959). Remember how debonair Cary Grant looked when he was chased by a crop dusting plane in the cornfield? That look is still copied today by modern stars like Tom Cruise in Collateral (I think Tom looked his best in this movie) and Ben Affleck in Paycheck. Breathless (1960) came in second place because of the stylish suits worn by John Paul Belmondo. Frank Sinatra‘s style in Ocean’s 11 (1960) came in third.
