The Screaming Skull–

I am having a little get-together tonight with friends and family and we are going to watch “The Screaming Skull” I figured we could use a laugh or two. Just reading the title looks like the Screaming Skull is going to give us all a headache!!! Filmed in 1958 the era of B-movies, what else can we expect? But it’s that time of year when you just want to sit around your TV set with friends and not so much get scared, but laugh—or maybe in this case barf.

A scheming husband is trying to drive his wife to suicide guess why? Yeah, yeah he wants her money. Eric marries Jenni a very rich woman who at one time was in an insane asylum. They go to live in Eric’s mansion, one that he used share with his lst wife who mysteriously died. Soon after they settle down Jenni starts to hear and see things, strange things–is she loosing her mind or is her husband up to something?

The movie is totally low budget and the actors well lets not go there. I think this is a movie you watch to unwind after maybe watching one like “Night of The Living Dead.” What were they thinking back in the 50′s?
